DeBaun teaches EPI-C603 Clinical Epidemiology for the SLU School
of Public Health. This course explores how epidemiologic models
are applied to clinical research questions. Clinical epidemiology
evaluates factors that are related to variation in the outcomes
of illness. He works full-time for Washington University in the
Department of Pediatrics Genetics division with his main interests
in Sickle cell disease and stroke and genetic epidemiology of
pediatric overgrowth syndromes.
